We must stop analyzing Power from the lens of political ideologies. It is absurd. Doing so is like seeking to understand the budgetary difficulties of a city's government, through the analysis of the graphic designs of the local sports teams' mascots. As Michael Tsarion would say, ideological allegiances mean nothing behind the lodge door: at a certain point in their careers, most politicians, corporate leaders, academic luminaries, government officials, military officers, etc. tend to join the elitist clubs, the occultist lodges, the knightly orders, and so on. Their loyalty belongs to whichever brotherhood/fraternity/order they swore an oath of allegiance to first; this loyalty comes before country, or party, or religious sect, or geographic location, or ideological leaning, or even family. This loyalty is owed, in practice, first and foremost to the brethren of their order, as well as to their order's agenda. Pursuing this agenda supersedes their personal career objectives: it is an overriding goal. Furthermore, political ideologies, as configured in the contemporary geopolitical landscape, have been historically crafted and molded within these various orders and lodges! This "hidden hand," through its acolytes and puppets in Academia and/or the major intellectual movements, has produced these belief and attitude systems for mass public consumption. In that sense, these constructs for the mind have been shaped in such a way as to compartmentalize, divide, and polarize the public, especially the -radically uninformed- voters of Western political systems. No truth in Politics will emerge if we keep using this tool for deception and control as a tool for analysis. It's nothing personal, it's just business; and the business of Power demands the use of political ideologies as costumes for the political actor -- for the time being. That's why political ideologies don't seem to make sense anymore... truth be told, they never did, but Power is getting ready to ditch the political-ideological spectrum altogether! That's also why, intellectually speaking, ideologies seem so bankrupt and maleable nowadays: because the only two political-ideological [so to speak] positions that matter anymore are to be found in the antagonistic relationship between patriotism and globalism. Other than that, ideologies have never really mattered in the grand scheme of Power things. Power has now almost swallowed Politics entirely, like the Revolution or Saturn eating its children, except for that aforementioned crucial antagonism -- which is the only one that's still alive and relevant in the real world currently. To quote my mentor, Professor Ricciuti: "Ideologies are masks of Power." I, in turn, like to say that political ideologies are costumes of Power, because they've hidden and they still hide the full body of those who act in the theater that is Politics.

At the tail end of USCIS' interview of political asylum applicants, the immigration officer in charge of the interview process gives both council (the applicant's attorney) and client (the applicant) an opportunity to state any closing remarks. I did not utilize my opportunity. Therefore, I wish to turn those minutes that I gave up and express those ideas in written form. I am technically not under oath as I type these words, yet they are absolutely truthful:

I am a friend of the United States: a place and a people that have given me and my family another chance at life. Regime change in Venezuela is in the best interests of the Venezuelan nation, first and foremost; also of the Western Hemisphere and, consequently, of the United States. You tell me what better "policy option" to craft and puruse. This course of action is the logical result of setting the national security goal to defeat the major drug cartels in the Americas, while facing off a regime that IS a drug cartel. Let me say that again: the 'Cartel de los Soles' ("Cartel of the Suns" ) IS the Government of Venezuela. Is this finally clear, or do you require another 26 years of utter destruction of the most beautiful country on the planet?
